About the Painting
Warm copper, gold, and crimson meet luminous blue in this commanding portrait from The Painted Portrait Project. C.J. Jones faces the viewer with a lifted chin and steady gaze, his pale blue head wrap framing the richly layered colors of his face. A deep green shirt anchors the composition against the open blue background. Created in oil pastel from a photograph shared by the sitter, the original measures 40 × 30 inches and remains in the artist’s personal collection.

The larger 105 × 140 cm (approximately 41.3 × 55.1 inches) and 120 × 165 cm (approximately 47.2 × 65 inches)options receive the printer’s light-green resolution rating. These sizes offer a larger statement piece, but fine details may appear softer, particularly when viewed up close. These enlarged sizes have not been physically proofed by the artist. Centimeter dimensions and inch conversions are approximate; consult the selected product option for exact measurements.
