Floral Composition 1 (2022) | Canvas Print | Gyan Samara

A brilliant yellow field gives an exuberant bouquet room to flourish. Tall flowering stems rise above a dense gathering of coral, pink, violet, and turquoise blooms, while patterned leaves tumble around a blue-green vase. Every flower was reimagined from a photographic starting point, becoming part of a richly detailed world of inventive shapes, scribbles, and rhythmic lines. Gyan Samara created the work in 2022 while grieving his Great Dane, da Vinci, finding solace and enjoyment in the absorbing process of drawing. Made with acrylic markers on heavyweight paper, the original measures 40 × 30 inches and has been sold.

Poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte/satin finish, designed to resist scratches, cracking, and warping.

Room images are illustrative and may not show the artwork at its actual scale. Please review the selected canvas dimensions and framing options before ordering. Colors may vary slightly between your screen and the finished print. This reproduction captures the original’s intricate drawn marks; the canvas contributes its own surface texture. Open edition prints are not individually hand signed or numbered.

Offered as an open edition canvas print, this work creates a radiant focal point for a living room, welcoming entryway, or bright dining space. The abundant flowers and playful details offer something new to notice with each viewing. Explore Gyan Samara’s original paintings and current studio work at www.gyansamara.com.
