Untitled Landscape 2

I began this first of two paintings of a favorite location near Peotone, Illinois, on June 2, 2024, spending roughly six hours painting outdoors during an afternoon and evening session. About a month later, I returned to the painting in the studio and reworked it into a dusk scene.
