About the Painting
Chicago’s skyline rises beyond a tangle of lush greenery, bringing the city and its quieter natural spaces into a single view. Beneath a brilliant turquoise sky, the John Hancock building appears in deep violet, its strong vertical lines softened by sweeping branches, leafy shadows, and bright touches of yellow green.
